With CODE DANS, Danspunt wants to support and challenge choreographers, new creators and dance groups to come out with their dance project. Through financial support, artistic and organizational coaching & communicative support, CODE DANS + supports the development of new or work-in-progress dance projects.
Three editions have already passed; 2021 (44 selected projects), 2022 (25 selected projects), 2023 (22 selected projects).
CODE DANS + was created after the Flemish government decided to discontinue the ‘Project subsidies for talent development in amateur arts’ and instructed the nine amateur arts to distribute 50,000 euros each. This allows Danspunt to support even more projects financially and artistically.
