CODE DANS+ is back! The core concept remains the same: you create a project that you present at a non-traditional dance location, close to an audience that isn’t yet very familiar with dance. But to provide truly tailored support for each target group, we are splitting the open call into two separate trajectories for the first time.
Not yet familiar with CODE DANS+? Every year, Danspunt supports 25 projects with a creation budget of up to 3,000 euros, artistic coaching by a professional, access to dance studios at Danspunt in Ghent, and personalised advice and guidance. You present your work at a non-traditional dance venue and bring dance to a place where the audience doesn’t expect it. In short: everything you need to make your project a reality.
The open call for individual emerging artists and small collectives of emerging artists is currently open! The open call for dance schools and groups, dance companies, groups of amateur dancers, and organizations that work with amateur dancers is currently closed.
This call is intented for dance schools and groups, dance companies, groups of amateur dancers, and organisations working with amateur dancers.
This call is intented for individual creators and small collectives of creators, from first steps to pre-professional. CODE DANS+ for creators is a collaboration between Danspunt and Radar Mechelen.
