A set of white A4 papers and markers are available on a small table. One dancer starts drawing on the paper and the drawing is simultaneously projected to a public wall creating the scenography for an instant dance performance.
The performance lasts 20 minutes and consists of several solos and duos. Afterwards, the audience can also play with the installation, either taking the place of the draughtsman or the dancer.
About Paola Di Bella
Paola Di Bella is a dance performance artist and singer based in Brussels. She has experience as a performer and choreographer with several dancers and actors.
She is specialized in dance improvisation and singing performance. She has worked with David Zambrano, Renan Martins de Oliveira, Tino Sehgal, Xavier le Roy, Pietro Marullo, Helena Araujo. At the end of 2020 she started a photographic-performance project on selling femininity called 'Mother_femme' together with Desiree Cerocien.
She is currently touring for her latest creation: a concert performance entitled 'Pocket Poney live concerts' with the guitarist Diego Higueras supported by FWB. She is very active in the neighbourhood of Anderlecht leading several artistic actions with the artist Florian Vuille and the dance collective 'Brut movement', collaborating with Tictac Art Centre and Cie sQueezz.
