We are 3 dancers of different background and age, exploring the present and past representations of DeSire. Confronted with the dystopic tendencies in our continent, we investigate the balance with the utopic potentials that emerge as well, now as in the past. We search in different dance styles and integrate butoh.
DeSire is an omnipresent force in the human behavior and action. As a productive force, characterized by its multiplicity of forms and formats, DeSire goes beyond single fulfilment of material gratifications. It can as well persist on its own being.
In our society DeSire is too often transformed into the longing for material consumption. We want to discover alternatives through the dancing bodies, in a natural and outdoor setting.
