In a seemingly deserted place where time congeals, two bodies are subjected to machine of tight rhythms and electronic sounds. As if in a feverish dream, the two bodies try to break free, looking for an alternative. In what remains, they fantasize about a place where time is spent differently.
With this {nomadic} version, Izah creates short performances in unexpected places. In doing so, she considers the various scenes and musical fragments as malleable building blocks that can adapt to the location. Hankammer continues this project afterwards, working toward a full-length performance in 2026. She is doing this within the new maker project INTER:ACTION.
THE TIME IT TAKES {nomadic} falls within the artistic research of Filipino-German choreographer and performer Izah Hankammer, in which she wonders how the human body can function as an engine of resistance. Starting from this transformative power, she questions the political, cultural and social aspects of time and rhythm that shape our modern world.

Inter:Action (Action Zoo Humain)
In addition to the work of director and artistic director Chokri Ben Chikha, Action Zoo Humain is committed to the artistic development and mentoring of new players/creators. These creators have already graduated for several years and/or have already built up experience in the theater field. Action Zoo Humain gives them the opportunity to enter into an artistically in-depth development trajectory. After an initial trajectory, the makers are guided in developing and creating their own production.
