The historic kiosk in Citadel Park is located near Louis Hanssensdreef, 9000 Ghent, in the northern part of the park. This is where the performance will begin and end, during the performance we will take the audience on a walk.

Just before the sun awakens the city, those who always fall somewhere in between wander through the streets. Here they mold themselves with movement and sounds into hybrid body forms - not yet fully human and always a little bird. (Only visible when you look at the clouds a little too long).

“Dwaalvogels” is a morning performance and is performed by 2 dancers and 1 saxophonist. The performance takes place during the blue hour, the wandering hour, during the transition from night to day on 2024, 7:31-8:16 in the kiosk of the Citadelpark in Ghent. Afterwards, we will eat a blue breakfast together at Monterey.

The dancers are Lore Duvivier (theater scholar, DJ, mover) and Ester Bosschaert Devroe (ornithologist, theater scholar, dancer, filmmaker).
The saxophonist is Loïs Pluymers, she recently played at the Trefpunt Festival at the Ghent Festivities and at Industriemuseum with her own designed Industrial Improvisations.
