ARCHIEF brings different age groups closer together through conversations, memories and movement. The unique bond between generations, often full of warmth, care and daily rituals, forms the core of this project. The starting point is always an heirloom or memories being shared. Starting from audio conversations between grandparent and grandchild , we work towards a participative performance where intergenerationality is central.

Astrid Delombaerde is a performer, dance teacher and choreographer. She studied contemporary dance technique at Art Factory International, and also instant composition and performance at TIP in Freiburg. After a tour with DNA Dance Company, she started creating her own works; such as Tijdelijk Teder, Wildernis zonder naam and Rain, No sand. Currently, she performs in projects for Magali Laroy, and is choreographing an animated film for Rodriguez Valcke. She has a big heart for socio-cultural projects: dancing together is creating art, and a layered process in which we make something 'bigger', together. Her wish to contribute artistically to society made her establish the interdisciplinary movement-platform Broeidansatelier, which has in the meantime been adopted by DEVLOER. In addition she shares her contemporary dance practices with Platform K. She combines artistic and productional work for KAAP (DANSAND and December Dance), Dag van de Dans, Out of The Toolbox and Santarcangelo Festival. Her project (RE)claimingthevoid in 2025 researched how public spaces are being formed through diverse bodies and identities. In short, her broad expertise comes in handy for many different projects: interdisciplinary presentations, participative performances or dance workshops.
Eline Van Herreweghen graduated from the Theater Academy in Maastricht as a costume designer and scenographer, and afterwards did a Master in Audiovisual Arts and Writing at the RITCS in Brussels. She contributed to different film projects (Geldwolven and Ferry), created costumes for a variety of culture houses and companies (Bronks, Het Eenzame Westen and Antigone), and worked on many other artistic projects (Aion, I Still Remain, Zee om zeep and BOEMpatat). Furthermore, Eline develops artistic participative trajectories voor vzw De Batterie.
