Danspunt supports projects in the amateur arts through CODE DANS+. With financial support of up to \u20ac3,000, we want to help you bring your idea to life. The budget is intended to strengthen and concretely develop your project, not to pay yourself as a professional artist.<\/p>\n

So use the funds primarily for what you need to bring your creation to life: costs for a costume, transport, payment of a technician, a volunteer allowance \u2026 and so on. You determine what you need, submit your request, and we\u2019ll see what financial support we can offer!<\/p>\n

    Artistic Coaching<\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    If your CODE DANS+ application receives a positive evaluation, you can also apply for artistic coaching.<\/p>\n

    During this coaching, you\u2019ll receive guidance from a professional dancer, choreographer, or dance dramaturg. Based on your needs and questions, we\u2019ll work together to select a coach who best fits your artistic process.<\/p>\n

    How can a coach support you?<\/strong><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • You\u2019ve already developed a lot of dance material but are looking for help to bring it all together into a strong and coherent performance.<\/li>\n
    • Your piece is nearly finished, and you want a fresh, professional perspective to spot and point out new details.<\/li>\n
    • You\u2019re brimming with ideas but aren\u2019t quite sure how to get started.<\/li>\n
    • You want to work with lighting, projections, or other technical elements, but have little experience with them yet.<\/li>\n
    • You feel that your piece needs to go in a different direction, but aren\u2019t sure how to approach that in practice.<\/li>\n
    • You already have a lot of experience and are curious to see how someone from the professional dance world views your work and challenges you to grow further.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Practical information<\/h3>\n

      The coach can visit up to three times to work with you and your group, for a total of up to 10 hours of coaching. The coach is paid by Danspunt. This coaching program is therefore not included in the budget you\u2019re applying for.<\/p>\n

      This coaching offers a unique opportunity to develop yourself as a creator and to bring someone from the professional field into your network.<\/p>\n

        Information & Advice<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        When organizing your performance, you may run into some challenges. What\u2019s the best way to handle them? What are your options? Danspunt is happy to support you with tips and advice on planning and creating a script, organizing your performance, paying others, using an AKV\u2026 Throughout the entire process (and beyond), you\u2019re welcome to ask any questions you may have.<\/p>\n

          Residency at Danspunt (Ghent) or RADAR (Mechelen)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          You have the chance to secure rehearsal space at Danspunt and\/or RADAR (subject to availability)*.<\/p>\n

          At Danspun<\/strong>t: We\u2019ll start with 5 rehearsal days, which can also be 10 half-days. Do you need more rehearsal space? Then we\u2019ll discuss it with you.<\/p>\n

          At RADAR<\/strong>: A maximum of 7 projects can be hosted at RADAR for the period May 2027\u2013September 2027, up to 5 days a week.<\/p>\n

          *Use of the spaces depends on calendar availability.<\/p>\n
