What does the CODE DANS+ support package include?<\/h2>\n

1. Financial support up to a maximum of 3000 euros.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Danspunt supports projects in the amateur arts through CODE DANS+. With financial support of up to \u20ac3,000, we want to help you bring your idea to life. The budget is intended to strengthen and concretely develop your project, not to pay yourself as a professional artist.<\/p>\n

So use the funds primarily for what you need to bring your creation to life: costs for a costume, transport, payment of a technician, a volunteer allowance \u2026 and so on. You determine what you need, submit your request, and we\u2019ll see what financial support we can offer!<\/p>\n

\u00a02. Artistic coaching<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If your CODE DANS+ application is approved, you can also apply for artistic coaching.<\/p>\n

During this coaching, you will receive up to 10 hours of guidance from a professional dancer, choreographer or dance dramaturg. Based on your needs and questions, we will select a coach whose profile best suits your artistic process.<\/p>\n

How can a coach support you?<\/h3>\n
    \n
  • You have already developed a lot of dance material, but are looking for help to bring it all together into a strong and coherent performance.<\/li>\n
  • Your creation is almost finished and you want a fresh, professional perspective that spots and highlights new details to help your dancers feel even more confident in their roles.<\/li>\n
  • You are brimming with ideas, but aren\u2019t quite sure how to get started.<\/li>\n
  • You want to work with lighting, projections or other technical elements, but have little experience with them.<\/li>\n
  • You feel your piece needs to go in a different direction, but aren\u2019t sure how to go about it in practical terms.<\/li>\n
  • You already have a great deal of experience (perhaps even as a professional) and are curious to see how someone from the professional dance world views your work and challenges you to grow further.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Practical information<\/h3>\n

    The coach can visit up to three times to work with you and your group, amounting to a total of up to 10 hours of coaching.<\/p>\n

    This coaching offers a unique opportunity to further develop both yourself as a choreographer and the dancers in your group artistically.<\/p>\n

    3.\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202fInfo & advice<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    When organising your performance, you may run into a few things. What\u2019s the best way to handle this? What are your options? Danspunt is happy to support you with tips and advice on planning and scheduling, organising your performance, paying others, using an AKV, promotion \u2026<\/p>\n

    4.\u202f\u202f\u202f\u202fRehearsal space at Danspunt (Ghent)*<\/strong><\/h2>\n

    To support your project, you can rehearse at Danspunt at no cost. We\u2019ll start with five rehearsal days, which could also be ten half-days. Do you need more rehearsal space? We\u2019ll discuss this with you.<\/p>\n

    *Use of Danspunt\u2019s facilities is subject to availability in the calendar.<\/p>\n
